Kucuk Ev (Little House) Joins Sakli Vadi Full Time !

Sandy & Jon have now finished building thier new home in the mountains above Uzumlu, in the farming village of Arpacik. Kucuk Ev, or in English the Little House, was originally renovated and then used as their own family base in the village, for many years. In the large garden they built the laundry for the cottages and a maintenance workshop. Having completed the hosue in Arpacik, over this coming winter at Kucuk Ev they intend to re-design the garden, move the laundry and build a plunge pool, similar to those in The Granary and The Forge. They hope to have the cottage fully up and running to join the other three as a rental unit, ready for the 2010 season.

Kucuk Ev has a well established flower garden surrounded by high walls for privacy. The cottage has a large kitchen with a hob, oven and a huge fridge freezer. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room. The cottage has a second bathroom off the sitting room, so can accommodate a family of four comfortably.

We will keep the blog up to date on this as the building work progresses.
